  1. Internal: 40 pin IDE connector, 2 pin jumpers, 3 prong power (standard)

    External: 1/4 inch mini-plug for audio out.

    If you mean an internal DVD writer for a PC then it will probably have either a parallel (IDE) or serial (serial ATA ) interface the same as an internal hard drive and it can be connected in the same way as an internal hard disk drive
