What kind of crafts can be made from red Chinese envelopes?

I have always noticed people using leftover red Chinese envelopes to make animals, lanterns, etc. and I have been browsing the internet but I can not seem to find any links to this. Can anyone tell me what can be made from these envelopes and where I can perhaps find links with instructions on how to make them?

Ya, you are right, in fact I too had been searching for these few years and only able to search one from fortune city but later the instruction page was taken out.  According to the owner, seems putting up on web for the instructions, he had violated the rules or what thus he cannot upload anymore but the pictures of the lanterns is still in the site.  Then I saw another one last year but not many lantern.  As for this year, it's more miserable.
