  1. depends. If you use a bank that does manual underwriting. You don't need a credit socre. Manual underwriting was the way banks used to lend money for a home before the fico score. back when bankruptcy and debt was almost unheard of.

    today with all the fico score lending. Bankruptcy and debt is out of control. All they do is look at a number. A monkey could do it.

  3. 620 or better.  for me they looked at payment histories, judgments against you, and debt to income ratio.
