  1. Ive just read a artical on beer and hops , they are predicted to rise rapidly because there not enough hops grown , so theres a chance.

  2. ok

  3. Most all crops with the exception of melons that need a longer ripening season.

  4. I am most familiar with new England and new York. I have seen precious little wheat growing in the North East other than some in New York State.

My unscientific observation tells me Nursery stock, plants for landscaping.

We grow Christmas trees, balsam firs primarily, which I suppose could qualify.

Our area of Vermont has much lumber, more hard wood than anything else. Maple trees are use for maple syrup, not a large industry, but there are many people that supplement their income with that.

Dairy cattle is one of the largest agriculture endeavors, so the related crops, hay pasture and corn are prevalent throughout new England and New York.

Finally apples are a major crop, although one can see many orchards being sold for the Real Estate, so are being replaced by homes, one can only speculate how the ground water is effected by the years of pesticides.

  5. Try tobacco in Conn. and various types of apples throughout

New England. Potatoes are grown all over the northeast.
