  1. hai, x-ray -produce physiological changes in the  body, it may cause bone cancer, and skin cancer

  2. You have to be exposed to it frequently to get distinctive symptoms. I only get 1 dental xray per year, because it feels unsettling to have it that close to my brain. As for making your hair fall out, probably not. If you are being xrayed more than twice a year, to me that is too much, but its your choice. They CANNOT force you to get an xray (although you might want one if you break a bone). My dentist has been very good about coordinating my xrays with my orthodontist and sending him the pictures.

They do put a lead vest on you to protect your reproductive organs, but xrays aren't something that should be treated as harmless.

It cannot be proven that cancer is caused by people getting xrays, but there is always the chance for a correlation

  3. That can only happen if you are getting x-rayed over and over again in a short period of time.

Gamma radiation aka x-rays cause damage to proteins, but your body repairs itself. Also, modern machines are using very small dose, so don't worry.

Read physics textbook for more info.

  4. An x-ray machine would have to seriously malfunction in order for you to even have a chance at anything abnormal happen. This is definitely not something to worry about. Also, a person is only allowed to get so many x-rays in a year's time. Before an x-ray is taken, one is usually asked how many x-rays they've had recently.
