  1. you need your bachelor at first and then master! but if you want to teach at a daycare or private school sometime they just as for ur associate degree! you can also be a teacher aid with a high school diploma! good luck

  2. A teaching degree... It's generally a Bachelor of Science.

In many states you need to acquire your Master's degree within a certain period AFTER you begin working, or after getting your Bachelor's, but you can work on it in the evenings.  In some states you don't need the Master's, it only adds to your income.

  3. Typically the way it works is that you need to get a Bachelor's degree, and pick up at least two "teachables" usually your major and a minor - i.e. major in History and minor in English. Then once you have your BA (or other Bachelor's degree), you'd go to get your Bachelor of Education degree (B.Ed). It's usually 1-2 years, depending on where you take it. For example, in Nova Scotia, it's 2 years, and in Ontario it's 1 year. But if you do the 1 year in Ontario, you can't teach in Nova Scotia until you do an extra year.

The exception is private schools. You don't need a B.Ed (or technically any degree, for that matter) to teach at a private school. Rather, they can hire you without a degree, but they'll often require it for their own purposes. Good luck!

  4. Yes you can - in combination with obtaining a Teaching Certificate.

Or you can just be a substitute without a degree or certificate.

  5. You may need  your masters for higher grades, but you can teach with a bachelors, you just need to pass the state test.
