What kind of detergent deals with sweat well?

Ok, here's my situation. If i sweat when wearing no shirt, i smell normal or even nice, like the deodorant. But with shirts, especially shirts i've owned for a while, i start to smell bad. Especially true for tight tshirts. I mean not skin tight but i have muscular upper body so its gonna be a bit tight around the shoulders and chest no matter what.

And it's not me, it's all the shirt. I can smell nice when i take the shirt off. I think maybe there's old sweat stuck in it?

So maybe i need a better detergent...what's a good kind?

Add about a cup of plain white vinegar to your laundry with the soap (don't mix bleach and vinegar though) and let it soak for a while, to remove old sweat odors.

Also, Tide makes my family's clothes smell really good, in the closet and when they're wearing them.

I know it sounds funny but wash your clothes with pine sol or a few cans of coke.  It gets rid of many strange smells fish, mildew, sweat.

Try soaking it in an Oxygen bleach (color safe) over night. Then wash as normal in warm or cold water.

The Oxygen Bleach will kill the bacteria which are a cause of the  problem.

My husband works in a steel processing plant so his clothing gets greasy/sweaty... I use baking soda in the wash water... About 1 cup per full load.... Also, don't overload the washing machine make sure the clothing is able to move freely about and get CLEAN!  You should also turn your shirts inside/out so the area that is "dirty" is facing outward.   I have good luck with most detergents... I like WISK, ERA, CHEER- I only one I really don't like is PUREX is very watery.  TIDE is really good it's just more expensive than I like and I have skin allergies to it.... Also, if you can SOAK you clothing for 30 minutes or even overnight and then launder as usual... That will help as well.
