  1. Cloth and love them!  I don't have any problem with leaks and one extra load of laundry every couple of days isn't too inconvenient.  I love the softness and the diapers with microfleece or suedecloth keep your baby's skin as dry as a disposable would, but without the chemicals!

  2. I switched to cloth a few months back and I'm HOOKED!!!  :)

It's really easy (I use the BumGenius 3.0s, which are similar to disposables), saves lots of money, and it's better for my baby's body as well as the environment!

  3. disposable.

  4. im planning to use cloth, but also have 2 packs of disposable newborn diapers incase I get frustrated or tired or it takes me a while to learn how to pin the cloth ones. Plus the disposable could come in handy at night. But cloth save so much money. I guess i'll see how it goes. You only need about 3 dozen cloth compared to like packs and pack of dispoable. Plus they make liners and covers for cloth that help prevent leaks.

  5. Usually cloth, except if we're going away. I'm not going to lug the nappy bucket with us on overnight trips! At the moment I'm using disposables because I'm pregnant and just can't handle cloth nappies at the moment. Not if I want to keep my lunch down, anyway. We'll go back to cloth when this baby is born.

  6. i used cloth for first 2days then switched to disposables its easier no washing the nappies and less mess.

  7. both, cloth at home and disposable when we go out.

  8. Cloth ! I am addicted!

  9. disposable!

I thought about cloth but came to the conclusion that disposable are more cost & time effective.

Diapers stink and with cloth, you either have to wash them out immediately (which you may not be able to do) or you have to stockpile them until the laundry service comes by.

Also, with cloth, you have more messes on clothes, blankets, bedding, etc.

Not to mention the pins, the plastic pants, and everything else that goes along with it-time consuming and frustrating.

  10. I use both, for practical reasons. I love cloth diapers, I've used them with both my kids and they have been great. Now to go out or for daycare I  put my daughter in disposable. I think if you decide for cloth you'll end up using both, however the amount of disposable diapers I buy is minimum compared to if she wore only disposable!

  15. same as elle but i have cloth just incase i need diapers and cant buy none

  16. cloth saves for money. i just throw them in the wash.

  17. cloth, i do not even have a pack of disposables in the house - the samples you get in the mail, is all i have -

trips, errands, whatever, i use cloth - i have never had 1 blowout with cloth, i use diaper covers with gussets - never a problem w/bedding, clothes, anything

i use prefolds and flats, i have 1 happy hieney, one size, all in one - i use it as a diaper cover to match her purple clothes......(that is how much i like those type of diapers)

  18. It's going to depend on your ability to handle p**p.  If you have a queasy stomach, then you need to go for the disposables.  Cloth ones you have to mess with and get the stuff out and in the trash before you through it in the wash.  Disposables, you just wrap up and toss.
