Mostly guys would know about this.

Im really into the moto cross and I would like to get a little dirt bike to learn on but I dont want to get a monster horse like a 450 or a 500. I was told I should get like a 80 but to me even they are too big so I was thinking more of like a 50.

What is a good make and model to get. I would be getting a new one not a used piece of c**p.

Any info will help in my purchasing dicission.

  1. Yamaha TTR125 or Kawasaki KLX125.

  2. try a xr 80 honda. 4 stroke, not overly powerful. not as big as 2 stroke 80's

  3. Really need to know your height to say for sure. You should stay away from motocross bikes to learn on. What you need is something in the Honda CRF-F lineup. UNless you are really small you don't want a 50, they are for kids 4-6 years old. Probably a CRF80F or CRF100F would work. Just go to your local Honda dealer and sit on the different CRF-F models, they make a 50, 70, 80, 100, 150 and 230. One of them will surely meet your needs.
