1. see your gp, dr, and he,ll refer you

  2. An experienced urologist is likely the best option for vasectomy. Make sure you both review the known risks of the procedure: infection, excess bleeding or hematoma formation (2-5%), changes in sexual function, (decrease in ejaculate volume or expulsive force or change in o****m) chronic genital pain in up to 10% of patients (primarily testicular or epididymal pain), and psychological effects in some men.

Do a Yahoo! search for "post vasectomy pain" or "vasectomy complications" before going forward or you (he) may get a surprise.

  3. an urologist

    salutes! :)

  4. See a Urologist who specialize in surgical procedures.

  5. Uhm. Well look in the yellow pages for someone or you can contact YOUR doctor and ask him.

    Good luck!

  6. A urologist performs this procedure. Whether or not you need a referral to a specialist depends on what kind of health plan you have - contact the insurance company for guidance.

  7. Urologist. they can perform the surgery in the office. its very simple.

  8. consult your general practitioner, he may be able to do it, if not ask him to recommend a good urologist...I'd go the GP way first

  9. He needs to find a urologist. There are lots of ways, and it is up to your insurance company. Call them. Sometimes you need a referral.

You can also go to a non-profit clinic (like I did), or get a referral from Planned Parenthood. I was paying cash, because I didn't have insurance. It was only $250. Today he can get one for about $600-$1000. But if he gets a referral, your insurance may pay 100%.

Tell him it was a "piece of cake". There are no side effects, and it leaves no scar.
