  1. The majority of Obstetricians are gynecologists. They are usually the ones to do this procedure. It can also be done by a Family Practitioner or a General Surgeon. Its not a horribly complicated procedure and can usually be done laproscopically(spelling?)(trough small holes in the abdomin with a camera for assistance)

  2. obstetrician or gynaecologist.

  3. Surgical Gynecologist.

  4. That would be a surgical OBGYN. But this is a good question, because I've considered having this procedure, and I haven't found a doctor who will actually agree to do it.

  5. I'm hoping that it would be a gyno sirgeon, I'd be worried if it was someone else...

  6. A gynecologist, that's a doctor specializing in womens' health.  An obstetrician specializes in childbirth and delivering babies, so that probably wouldn't quite be the right person.

  7. oh that would be the fairy OBGYN.

    * imagining a doctor with fairy wings....hehe

    i have way too much of an imagination...

  8. Probably a gynecologist.

  9. A gynecologist or an obstetrician.  (Generally the same person, hence the term "Ob/Gyn")  While an obstetrician's specialty is indeed labor and childbirth, many women have a tubal ligation immediately following childbirth, so the Ob/Gyn is the one who performs the procedure.
