  1. Well I Luv Russian Dogs So Get One If U CAn Afford One

  2. go to puppyfind.com

    the best!!

  3. well try getting a siberian husky or a german shepard those dogs herd well and they like to spend time with other people and they guard

  4. Well I own a border collie, an aussie and owned a collie so I have pretty much cornered the market on herding breeds. Here is what I have learned:

Border Collies- can be VERY high energy, if not exercised and trained a lot they can become a handful, they can get depressed and destructive. They are wary of strangers generally, and some have a very high prey drive. Mine gets along fine with the cats, never chases them, but will herd children. They are lightening quick and have stamina. They are the smartest dog breed there is, if you enjoy extensive training and exercise everyday and you are truly devoted to your dog then they make good pets.

Collies (rough or smooth)- Larger than border collies females are 22-24" males 24-26" They are the couch potatoe of the herding breeds (there are exceptions though) Yet they are still ready and willing to take on any sport you wish, and will thrive at it. A border collie may do it faster but a collie will try his best to do it better to please you. They are happy to share small quarters. Bored collies bark, keep him well exercised and trained and it should never be an issue. The rough collie needs weekly brushing to keep free of mats. The smooth collie is wash and ware but both breeds are double coated and shed. A rough collie will 'blow' its coat once a year for males and up to three times a year for females, when they will need extra coat care.

Australian Shepherds- A good middle of the road herding breed. Beautiful dogs that come in many coat colours. Their coats need only a quick brushing, but they shed worse than the other two breeds. They are very fast and have a high desire to please the owners. They are velcro dogs and while they will be friendly with the whole family, they show a special enthusiasm for their favorite person. They have huge quirky personalities very childlike. They also have the strongest guardian instinct out of the three. They will deffend their owners if need be, early socialization is imperetive.

  5. a boxer they are very gentle

  6. well, i always say basset hound in questions like this, and they give me lots of thumbs down, so ill just keep my nose out from this one

  7. Black Lab, although they may be a bit too big for you, i strongly advice them, when they're young they're more playful than most dogs and they make excellent companions

  8. a cattle dog!

  9. You should try a dauchshund or a yorkie those are good dogs very cute medium size.

  10. a border collie heir medium size with a great tempermant. they are obiedient yet still bursting with energy

  11. how about a cute puppy dog

  12. I LOVE CORGIS!!!

  13. A Brittany!  Go and look them up...fabulous dogs and good at agility.

We have 2, and they are great house dogs.  We have a small house and they have never knocked anything, and they playfight inside all the time with no problems.

  14. I'd suggest a retriever, probably golden.  they don't need so much excercise as a lab and have just as good a temprament and are as fun but don't get fat so easily (or hide it better with their coat).

  15. border collie is a great dog if you have lots of time to spend with it. Very smart! Jack Russel is nice if you want something a little smaller.

  16. Have you thought about the border collie? It's a great dog, very loyal and playful and it's one of your favorite breeds. Hope you find one that you love.

  17. kaylee, I like the personality of a cardigan welsh corgi. They are so sweet.
