  1. i would highly reccomend a CAVALIER KING CHARLES SPANIEL  they are adorable and easy to train and very intelligent

  2. I would get a bichon frise-they are loyal and loving with a very fair temperament

  3. go 2 this website http://www.lifescript.com/quiz/quiz.asp?...

u take a quiz to find out wat kind of dog would fit ur lifestyle. i just got a maltipoo and he is adorable!!! hes not too small but not too big. he gets 2 be around 5-7 lbs. when they r fully grown.

  4. I would ask your mom and dad what kind of dog they really would enjoy and then get that kind...since they will probably be the ones who end up caring for it in the end:)

  5. It depends, do you want it to be active or not so active like a lap-dog? If your interested in an active dog, you could go with a Brittany. :] They're smart, only get up to 30-40 pounds, very affectionate, and shed very little. Just a little warning they need lots of exercise.

Try thinking about whether or not you want a dog that sheds very little or alot, a long haired dog or short haired, an active or a non-active dog. It really depends on what you want.

You can also go to this website to see which one seems like the dog for you: www.Iams.com/Dog-Breed-Guide

  6. First, make sure you are ready to take care of something. The first year of any dogs life is the most crucial and hardest. You need to be ready to get up at all hours of the night if he is sick or not potty trained.

But i am not discouraging you i hope lol.

A good starter dog would be something that does not get leg problems( common in a good majority of dogs)

And you have to compare yourself to the breed you are looking at. Dont base it on weather there cute or not, base it on things such as if you like to run, look at breeds that like to run. If you are gone most of the day look for a dog who dosent need alot of excersice.

My first dog was a Labrador Retreiver. It was great because i liked to run and so did he.

And yes money is a big factor in getting a dog, excpecialy with pure breds, my Lab was over 2,000 dollars.

But i would just say reasearch a bunch of breeds and find out which one fits into your schedule and life style.

  7. if u want a meduim size dog that loves to play fetch u should get a border collie. but remember any dog that u get u will have to take on walks no matter how big or small the dog is. if u arent as comited on the whole walking part u should think about getting a smaller breed of dog. maybe a pug would suit u. u dont have to take them on very long walks and they love to cuddle. if u want a tiny dog a chihuahua works out perfect. chihuahuas you probly have to take the least care of out of any other dog. you dont have to buy as much food or go on long walks. if u dont want to have a chihuahua because they bark well usually they only bark because their owners dont take care of them. if u want a bigger dog a lab is also good. longer walks more food but they wouldnt hurt a fly! if u take proper loving care of your dog he/she will most likely love u back!!

  8. And who is going to look after the dog when you are at school? I assume your parents both work? It is CRUEL to leave a dog on its own. You are going to be out of the house for 8 hours a day. Who is going to train it

Wait until you have left school and are in a place of your own before even considering a dog. You are too young and, by definition, too irresponsible to even think about a dog at your age; and, when you *DO* move out DON'T BUY A PUPPY - RESCUE ONE!!!

  9. Get a cocker spaniel! Great size, and overall, a great dog! Everyone has a golden colored one. I have a black and white one! That is also an option if you want something different. Hope it helps!

  10. Collie. Fun, Loving and loyal dogs. These dogs would complete any  family home, although herding dogs they can still be very mellow. Very easy learners, think back to Lassie, the very well trained, superstar Collie. Oh.. and it is Rough Collie for full name. Well trained they can be, but untrained they can create a real mess.

    Here are some for adoption:

  11. westie terrier ***** is great for all ages

  12. I recommend a Jack Russell Terrier.  I have 2 and they are so smart and fairly easy to train.  I haven't had major issues and they are so loyal and can entertain you with their antics.  However, they do have lots of energy so unless you have the time to devote to plalying with them, then I would consider a different breed.

  13. If you don't have a lot of experience with dogs, than I recommend the Sheltie.  Shelties are the smartest breed, and the easiest to train.   They are good with kids too.  That is my vote.

  14. You should probably get a beagal or something that will be a fairly small/mediumish dog.

  15. you can go onto the website called petplanet.co.uk and have a look at breed profiles and have a look through some popular breeds and see which are right for you.

I suggest a lab or something
