What kind of dolls are these? (doll collectors please look)?

Question

I bought these two dolls as a set at a yard sale and I wanted to

know what kind of dolls they are and where they come from.

I'm an avid doll collector and I really would like to know. They

seem to be Native American but I am not really sure.

If anyone knows anything about these dolls please let me know!

Also, I originally thought that they were berenguers but upon

inspection of the back of their neck (where berenguer usually

applies their logo) there is nothing writting.

I have a doll collection too. My hobby is dressing dolls in Native American dance regalia.

Based on their sandals and the sashes, the dolls look Mexican.
