  1. Cocktail Dresses. Bright Colours. Simple.

  2. If it's at night and it's formal, go with a little black dress.  If you are a guy, a classic black suit will do.

  3. The same as for any type of wedding.  A nice "Sun Dress" will be fine.  You will look great.  If you think it's that fancy... try black dress, just below the knees... heals... a little cleavage but nothing S****y.  You will look great.

  4. Being a night wedding at a 'fancy place' I would suggest this will be a formal wedding - which usually calls for full length gown.  Try something like these...

Really - anything that is floor length and fairly simple and not S****y will be fine.  Add a bolero jacket or stole for if it gets cool.

I don't agree with the 'don't wear red' that some people go on about - red is fine to wear - it only becomes a problem (ie taking attention away from the bride) if it is S****y and low cut or with a split up to you know where!  And that would be a problem in any coloured dress, not just a red dress.

But if you wear black I would try and add some colour - it is not so taboo these days but some people still see it as a mourning colour so you have to keep that in mind and not make others feel like you do not agree with the marriage!

And of course do not wear white or any creams.  Other than that have fun deciding what to wear!  Hope I've helped a bit.

  5. Fall eveing attire.

  6. You can never go wrong with a black cocktail dress!

Really any dark colour of cocktail dress would be fine too (Chocolate, navy, forest green, dark burgundy).  But everyone has (or should have) a little black dress, because they are perfectly appropriate for an occasion such as a wedding, any time of year.

For a man a dark suit is more appropriate for the evening, and wear the jacket just incase it is more formal that you think.  You can always remove it if no one else is wearing a jacket, but if you don't bring one and are the odd man out, you'll feel odd.
