I am in Bloomington, Indiana and saw a very strange duck today. After 16 years (3 of which in Bloomington) in Indiana, I have never once seen this variety of duck.

It was fairly large and a uniform brown color. It also had brown eyes. The strangest feature was a tuft of feathers on the top of its head in a tannish color that looked a bit like a high top or afro.

There were two of them, I assume male and female.

It may have been a goose, but I'm pretty sure it was a duck.
