What kind of engineering shoudl i go into to become a spot equipment enginner?

i have always wanted to be an engineer, and this year i worked at a golf course and i realized that a ton of money goes into club makers and all kinds of stuff, so i was wanderign someone has to come up wiht hte technology that comes out every year, it has to be like physics engineering or somethign like that

I would recommend Mechanical Engineering.  It is perfect for what you want to do.
