  1. All kinds of them. Electronical, mechanical, electrical, aeronautical... They all play a very important role in every part of the missions because averyone has a different job to develop in a space agency like NASA. In fact, all sorts of people is needed there, from someone who sweeps to someone who leads a space mission.

So, not only one kind of engineer works at NASA, but all kinds of  professionals and other trades.

    Grettings.

  2. Aerospace Engineers

  3. I have worked with NASA engineers from all of the scientific or technical disciplines, including mechanical, aeronautical, electrical, materials, chemical, structural, dynamics, heat transfer, and controls. Some remain within their technical discipline, most move on to manage programs that are involved with their areas of interest.

The only engineers that are not fully represented at NASA are those involved with the manufacturing or industrial disciplines. Those are generally left to the various contractors who actually make the hardware.

  4. I think most priority is given to the aeronautical engineers

  5. They hire all sorts of engineerings but I would assume mainly Aerospace and Mechanical Engineers with their emphasis on astronautics.

  6. Electrical engineers, Mechanical engineers & Aerospace engineers are the only ones i can thing of right now.
