What kind of entertainment can we expect on a long haul flight (london to cancun)?

Question

We go away soon to Cancun and its a 10 hour flight, what inflight entertainment can we expect? Will we have to pay for headphones like you do on a short haul flight or even to watch the films? Will it be a big screen or a screen in the back of the chair in front?

It will be a scream in any seat, the stewards are so camp it's like Grace Brothers!

depends who you are flying with. Virgin have big seats and a tele in the chair infront where you can play games too!!

Other airlines generally have quite a few tele's with some fairly up to date films.....................

The screen depends on the plane of course and you will pay for headsets

I went with First Choice, and as it was a long journey you get 37" leg room, travel pack (which included earphones, flight socks, eye mask, mini toothbrush and toothpaste). The tv screen was in the head rest of the seat in front unless you get an emergency exit seat then they are the the arms on a swivel stand. You can watch whatever you want for free, but if you pay £5.00 you can watch everything at your own time as well as being able to pause, rewind etc.. if you choose not to pay you have to watch it in order of all the films... considering you are on a ten hour flight it is well worth the couple of pounds.... There are also some interactive games like Who wants to be a Millionaire etc....also if you have an evening flight they also provide a blanket and pillow, which you cannot take with you... as i found out... ha.... hope this helps!!!!
