  1. Hook up with a major engineering company (ENR 500) that does environmental planning or impact studies. Be prepared to live in zero-star hotels rather than five-star ones. You are much more likely to be sent to Dacca or Lagos than to the French Riviera. I heard of one person who got off the plane in Lagos, took a sniff of the air, and immediately booked a flight back home. It may have gotten better since then. Or worse. Or, by the time you get all the education you need to do the work, it could have become a destination city.


  2. Certainly academic (professorship) jobs, where you are required to do research, and such research studies are often non-local.

  3. Best bet is a company with venture capital or shared components and plans in other countries. Most jobs are pretty localized, and you do your part to provide a "world" picture, but if your an innovative company trying to develope new technology and have ties across the pond, then you might get travel time as a preresentative of the company.
