I know theres babysitting, but what else?

And please dont answer with anything dirty...Im not looking to "work the streets." =)

Im asking this b/c the apartment Im moving to is based on income, so if I make higher than a certain amount I wont qualify. But I still need to earn more money otherwise Im going to relly be struggling financially. Thats why Im looking for side jobs/tax free jobs.

  1. There really is no such thing as "tax free" income that you could work for.

By the letter of the law, ALL income must be reported unless you are under the filing requirements.

  2. Uh, babysitting is NOT tax free - you are legally required to report it.

If your income doesn't qualify for the subsidized housing, then sorry but you aren't eligible for it.

  3. Tax free??  Unpaid volunteer work.  Anything you are compensated for (such as babysitting) IS taxable!

  4. There is no such thing as tax free work.  Under reporting income is a serious crime.

  5. nothing is "tax free". technically if you babysit you owe the IRS if you make over 600 dollars in a year (total, not just babysitting). Anything you make money on you are required to notify the govt. of. Of course, its a pathetic corrupt system so no one actually does.
