What kind of eyliner do I use to get smokey eyes?

I want to know how to do my make up like this

What kind of eyliner and what kind of brushes should I buy to do this what brands would you recomned? And if you have a website link for the product it would be great if I saw a picture! THANK YOU!

L'oreal makes a great pallette, w/ all the right colors! it's the Wear Infinite line and it's called Smokey Eye! has black, grey, and silver! I use a black kohl liner, and smudge it w/ a Q-tip. Then 2 coats of mascara. EZ as 1 2 3...

Well for mascara i would recommend Maybelline! Its great! And then eyeliner hmmmm... Like someone else said try MAC! And she was using a Q tip so thats what you should do to maybe aplly the eye shadow! But use a silvery sparkly gray! Okay hope this helps

well i'm pretty sure that those were mac products she had because i saw some mac pallets so you'd probably want to go to maccosmetics.com and they have kohl pencils so that would be a good eyeliner to use and also some mac fluidline in blacktrack for the top of the eye for liner and mac has a couple eyeliner brushes that work great you'll just have to find the right ones for you.  also you can go to micheals and buy a paint brush for you eyeliner brush as an alternative, i know alot of makeup artists who use those, the best brand is loew cornell.  anyways i hope this helped if you have anymore questions feel free to email me.  :)
