  1. "quorn". it tastes and looks like meat but it isnt!

will u be a vegan or vegetarian? if ur a veggie u can have fish & eggs which give u protein (vital) if ur not going to eat ANY meat or anything to do with animals then ul need to take protein supplements cos u wont gain any without meat.

    good luck!

  2. tempeh

makes wonderful faux "egg" salad sandwiches, great in bbq sauce, in spaghetti, and lots of other dishes.

  3. Every kind imaginable has been vegetarianized!

  4. BOCA!

    i tried it last night

    good stuff.

    mine was a meatless cheeseburger

  5. Boca and Morning Star are common brands that make meat alternatives.  You just have to try different ones to find something that tastes good to you.  Make sure you get enough protein with beans or peanut butter.

  6. Everything from Vegan Shrimp to even Vegan Pigs Feet to Mock Duck and Chick'n Wings (with fake bones too, wooden dowels)

  7. boca burgers i love them but my friend who is a vegetarian also doesnt so i guess it all depends

  8. Meat or no meat.

    Nothing in between.

  9. http://www.yvesveggie.com/

Y ou can buy most these products at your local grocery store - It will not be found in the meat section ---- you have to look in the section that sells prepackages salads

You may want to take a vegetarian supplement.

  11. burgers- soy burgers or veggie burgers, also rice burgers

seitan- can be prepared as a faux meat, and tastes pretty good too

lunch meats- varieties such as Tofurky and other brands of deli slices- they do faux turkey, faux ham, etc.

    turkey- tofurkey

tofu- can be prepared in a variety of ways

tvp- texturized vegetable protein- can be used in place of ground beef

brands such as Fry's, Boca, Morningstar Farms, Sanitarium Health Foods/Veggie Delights (in Australia) all make a variety of faux meats such as breakfast sausages, bacon, chicken, chicken patties, snitzels,  etc.

If you eat a variety of foods you should get a well-balanced diet.
