What kind of fashion does a girl look for on a college man?

Question

I generally shop at American Eagle as well as several retail stores for my clothes. Is there a specific look that the opposite s*x likes on a man? I understand that both sexes don't have a "hive-mind" where every woman likes this on a man and so on, so I'm looking for different opinions. Thanks very much.

Haha this is a cute question. Well, I personally like my men clean cut. Call it metrosexual, but I think its key for guys to clip their nails and toenails, shower everyday, etc. I love simple clothes on guys. White v-neck shirts, plain cardigans, dark straight leg jeans, beanie hats, with a pair of Nike dunks. Haha I think I'm getting too descriptive here. Make sure to buy clothes that flatter your body and are versatile. :)

They've just got to look good in their clothes to be honest, and as long as its nothing to "geek-ish" if you get what I mean.

Hmm.. Depends. There's lots of different looks guys can have, just because you are in college you don't have to have a specific looks. You can relly dress how you want. However, I'm very sure that girls don't mind the all around staple in guys college looks. aka Abercrombie & Fitch/American Eagle prep frat guy. I tend to lean towards the dressy casual look, more trendy and fashionista kinds.  Club Monaco, Banana Republic are easy places to find trendy/dressy casual stuff. You can buy anything at Club Monaco and it ALWAYS goes together, it's so easy to make outfits there. It's very preppy, more dressy preppy though, unlike Abercrombie and American Eagle which is preppy/casual/active style.

Basically, I  guess I'm trying to say that since you're in college, the ladies would probably appreciate a more mature, sophisticated style. But you don't have to throw out your graphic tees and jeans. Those can be sohpistacted with the right combination too! And again, you don't have to dress like that always. It's just nice to feel all dressed up and trendy! And they girls will be looking for sure too! You just look more grown up and mature in those kinds of clothes, instead of looking very 'highschool' or 'just out of highschool'.

Also, maybe pick up a GQ or Details Magazine. They have all the Fall looks now.
