A strong woman take on the gender role of a man in some ways (learns how to fight, gets tattoos and body piercings, cusses a lot, owns a gun)

An equal rights believer, who does not have anything against women who are girly by their own choice, but also respects womens' choice to be masculine

  1. An equal rights believer, who does not have anything against women who are girly by their own choice, but also respects womens' choice to be masculine

  2. I'm not a feminist in anyway..but men are not superior to women.

  3. zack is so funny. i think it's sexist

  4. im not sure id say im a femenist...   im not sure wat the femenists beleve anymore these days....  but i beleve in giving us equal rights...  i think we need equal pay to wat men make...  i think we need equal jobs to men...  no more of this ol boys club giving the best jobs to other men that dont deserve them...

i beleve we need protecton from abuse an more shelters for battered women...  an we need better health care for women....  we have lots of medicle things to deal with that men dont...  like pregnancy...  an vaginal health...  menopaus... breast cancer...  an we get sick more than men so we need more mony for health care...

also... im christian... im aganst abortion an beleve its murder... so thats y the femensts hate me....

lately it seems the femenists on here r starting to sound jus like the misogemists...  its like the misogemists have been wining so long bout how there treated so unfair by women... that abusive women r beating up there husbands an boyfrends...  they have to pay mony to support the children they brot into this world...  that women dont care wat happens to them..  they shudent have to pay for dates....  blah.. blah... blah... that the femenists r all brain washed now an starting to agree with them!!!  i mean... i thot womens rights were for WOMEN... NOT MEN!!!

  5. I believe men and women were created equally, and that they should both be able to vote, go to school, and be treated as human.

I don't really agree with women taking on the gender role of a man though...it's kind of ridiculous. God made us both different, in a good way, and I don't think men should be babysitting while the women are out riding their harleys or whatever...it just doesn't fit.

But I DO believe that women should be able to defend themselves, with a gun or whatever. The second amendment applys to BOTH genders.

  6. An anti-feminist

  7. I believe in equality. 50/50. Parenting, work, bills, looking after each other, the lot.

Personally I learn martial arts, have a tattoo and piercings and swear when there is a reason to do so. If I lived in a country where guns were legal I'd also learn how to shoot. I don't consider any of this 'masculine'. I believe people should be free to act how they want to, so long as they don't promote intolerance or violence.

  8. I'm the second option. I'm a feminist, and I'm pretty girly. You can be both.

  9. All humans have equal rights before the law.

    End of story.

  10. A feminist one.

    Cheers :-)

  11. I believe women can be manly or girly. And that men are not stronger than women and women are not stronger than men. It depends on the type of person you are, not your gender. I'm pretty much girly. But attack me and I know how to break your nose, knock you out, and break your arm in two places.

  12. I don't know anyone who assigns a gender role to tats, piercings, or cussing.  That said, I think people can portray themselves any way they see fit.  What do I care whether another woman wears lipstick or not?  I have bigger fish to fry, my friend.

  13. I'm whatever one that thinks that women should be chained naked to the stove in my kitchen.

  14. An equal rights believer.  A person, male or female, should be free to chose how they want to act-- be it masculine or feminine.

Oh, and since when has owning a gun been a male defined quality?  If I own a gun or know how to shoot several (which I proudly do), then suddenly I'm masculine?  When did that happen?  And here I thought it was simply knowing how to protect or defend oneself (or just enjoying the range).

I think, too, that a woman can be both masculine AND feminine.  She can know how to fight, have a tattoo, swear when need be, but still enjoy dressing up, acting girly when she wants to and be "feminine".

Why must we chose one or the other?

  15. I'm an anti feminist but I am a humanist.

EDIT: I do own a gun, cuss/curse a lot and I take martial arts to keep healthy. But I don't like tattoos.

  16. I think it's strange when people say that they are not feminists in any way, but then they say that they believe that men and women should have equal rights.  My definition of feminism is believing that women should have the same rights as men--we're all humans.  I am a feminist, a person who believes that women should be able to act stereotypically girly or stereotypically manly or however they so choose, just as long as they are not infringing on the rights of others or harming themselves.

  17. well i'm girly by my own choice... and i like being treated like a girl... because i am one.

however, i'll do stand up for things. when i'm older i will get a gun. and i'll vote.

i can take care of business. but i wanna look cute while i do it. lol.

but feminism can get you in trouble if you prance around and think you're so cool and invincable. you need to know your limits.

  18. I think the whole point of feminism is to allow women to have choices.  If a woman wants to get tattoos and body piercing, then that's fine.  And if she wants to be girly, that's fine too.

A great many strong women stick with traditional women's roles.  For example: stay at home moms.  Being a full time parent requires skills that women in the workplace can only dream of.  Anyone who can bring a stubborn 3 year-old home from the park deserves a medal!

  19. I'm not.**I don't buy into that 50/50 jargon; I'm more of a 60/40, 40/60 type of gal; with an occasional when warranted 50/50 proposition.

Edit@Zack: About that chain to the stove bit.  I want me to be silver and enough length so that I can reach both the front and back yards. Anything shorter the deal is off.

  20. Both. I absolutely believe in equal rights, but I also learn martial arts and swear a lot, and I have strongly considered getting a tat.

  21. An anti-feminist, but an equalist.

  22. I'm an equal rights believer, I absolutely do not have anything against women and believe they can do whatever the heck they want. :)

  23. If women want to act manly, that is their prerogative. I am personally a lot more feminine. I don't have anything against manly women or girly men. People can do whatever makes them happy.

  24. Believer of equity (fairness) even in rights.

Equal fundamental rights however are fair so I believe in those but not all rights should be equal. Do we expect men to have rights to cervical cancer screening? So yea its fair that women have that though since they need it.

Equality is basically just a gauge for when things are level, it gives us no reasons to implement some forms of equality like equal opportunity and reject others like equal outcome for its own sake (communism)

  25. An equal rights believer
