What kind of fighter jets fly over Virginia Beach?

I was in VB the other day and there were fighter jets flying overhead alot! They were always the same type and they were loud as h**l!

Does anyone know what kind these were?

F15s, F16s......and during certain points in the summer.....Blue Angels. I used to live there.

Langley AFB seems to be the closest. They fly F-16s and F-22s plus CH-130 transport aircraft

Because of the large number of military bases near Hampton Roads, it would be impossible to tell.  They're most likely Navy jets, but what type I couldn't tell you.  Did you get a photo?
