What kind of filter for my lens?

i'm thinking of buying a polarizer lens but I dont know what to buy there are too many to choose from. my camera is canon rebel xti w/ tamron af 28-300 lens

both are Tiffen:

store brand but too expensive:

which one should i buy? just these 4 that i chose because I'm going to the store later and this are the only thing they sell.

  1. What you need is a circular polarizing filter and buy the best you can afford.

    Do not buy it if it is not a circular polarizer. These are designed for 35mm cameras.


  2. Buy the Tiffen circular polarizer. I have a Tiffen polarizer I've used since 1972. B+W, Heliopan, Singh-Ray and Hoya are also good brands.

    I'd avoid store brands since there is no way of knowing who made them and what their quality standards are. Plus, IMO, its ridiculous that a store brand would cost more.
