    Softshells LOVE fish.


  2. Softshells are highly carnivorous... any type of fish you want as long as you don't intend on keeping them for a long time. (Goldfish are high in fat, so not too many of those...)

Any type of turtle eats fish, and your soft shell will eat the fish within 24 hours if it is small enough to fit into its mouth, or it will nibble on it till it dies if it is too big to eat at once. Turtles are omnivores and eat crickets, earthworms, mealworms, bloodworms, shrimp, krill, snails, fish, pplants, mustard greens, kale, collards, and a lot more.
