  1. well i have a ten gallon tank with a betta and tetras in it and they aare doing fine  but make sure if you gget tetras to put them in the tank with out the betta and make sure you have at leat 3 of them and let them be in there for a day or two and then put your betta in there watch them your betta will probaly chase them around if he or she starts to bite them and wont stop take him/her out and try agian until he learns his lesson

  2. my grandfather had fighting fish and one of them killed all his other fish

two fighting fish will just kill each other

they have to be kept by themselves

no fish that i know of can be with a fighting fish

  3. if its a betta, try to get a tropical or community fish that is very friendly and not teritorial, like small fish but it if its a different fighting fish, than i dont know cuz a betta is the only one i know.

                                -Hope this helps!

  4. i think fishes that dont look like the betta. or dead ones.

  5. they can live with gold fish.

  6. A fish without anything resembling a fan like tail.

Better not to put fish in with him though.

    Try an African Dwarf Frog.

They're really cute and they add a lot of character to the tank ^_^

    They wont harm each other.

  7. A dead one.

  8. only the same type of fish and some two way parasites.......

but dont put 2 males and a female or the dudes will kill each other

  9. Ones that are about to be executed.
