I have a 20 gallon tank with 8 danios and 1 pencil fish. I have an anubias, driftwood, and java fern in my tank. Also I use black sand as substrate. I am wondering what other fish I cad add to the tank.

  1. i would get 3 peppered cory cats

either one rubber liped pleco or 3-4 otto cats

because it looks like u got the top covered and u need bottem and some cleaning fish so research and look at those fish and see if u like them

  2. I would go with bottom feeders, like a pleco, or several corydoras.  I have always liked swordtails, being that livebearers are pretty exciting, but they are jumpers, so you better have a well-sealed hood.  Shrimps are cool too, I think, and they will keep your tank slightly cleaner by picking up any food your fish miss.  That's my 10 cents.

  3. 2 more penicl fish, cory cats, small synadontis, snails, rubber nose pleco, raphael catfish, banjo cash, upside down catfish, loaches, botias.....
