Question:

What kind of flooring should i use for my leaf chameleon?

i have substrate at the minute but have read that small chams can choke on it?

Please advise

  1. maybe some bark substrate? i also hear the newspaper works well , or you could try some reptile dirt.


  2. Use a reptile rug. It's a inexpensive rug like flooring that is easy to clean. I recomend this over sand and dirt because chameleons and other lizards can eat the sand/dirt and not be able to digest it. This will cause them to die.This usaly happens to babys.Hope this helps.
