What kind of flower is this?

My mom has this plant in her room that has clusters of flowers that blossom. The weird thing is at night time, and only at night time, a strong fluorous scent permeates throughout the room.

We even noticed that recently, drops of very sweet tasting nectar have been forming near the center of the small flowers. It's a cool flower, and she would like to know what it's called.

    Also known as "wax plant" or "shooting star".
