  1. Soap does not affect plants. Actually soapy water is a eco-friendly form of insect control against certain bugs. I would never pour dish water on fruit or vegetable plants that were designated for human consumption. Also no house hold cleaners such as bleach but just run of the mill dish water is perfectly safe and also will safe guard against ants.


  2. As far as I know you can use it on any plants, just not everyday. If you are uncomfortable using it on your dahlias, just make sure you water the soil. I have used it myself, with no problem.

    I'm not so sure about the bleach detergent, or the antibacterial.I have never used them.

  3. Begonias do not like any water on their leaves neither do alliuum but you can put the soap water  into the soil.
