  1. Australian cuisine is based on traditional British cooking brought to the country by the first settlers. This generally consists of pies, roasted cuts of meat, grilled steak and chops, and other forms of meat generally accompanied by vegetables (the combination known colloquially as "meat and three veg").  Common choices would be roast meat and vegetables; pasta; pizza; casseroles; barbecue meat; vegetables and salads; soup; stir-fries.

  2. you forgot skippy, meat pies and tim tams :D

nah, aussies basically eat anything that ISNT aussie.  there is no real australian food, we just eat everything all the immigrants bring over.  rock on multiculturalism, i'd kill myself if i was forced to live off kangaroo, footy pies, grubs and all the other animals we have here that defy evolution.

  3. Australia is a multicultural country.. We pretty much eat everything..

Theres no such thing as a true australian food.. Because its influenced by others..

  4. meat pies, steak and mash

  5. australian food silly,  LOL just kidding of course but i guess they would eat the same kind of food that we do & i'm sure they have their specialties too
