What kind of food do goats like to eat?

i want to know because im going to visit some goats next week and i want to give them something

fruits apples Small chunks,, any hard veggie small chunks,,,

Saluations,

you might want to ask the owners ahead as if they are kept for milking, foods they eat flavor the milk. also if they are raised as food, this will affect the final product. not to sound Morbid, but I adore roast goat, and this is the first thing that sprang to my mind. cheers

They eat grass and dried grass too but I do know they love salt.

Don't give them milk...

I have pet goats and give mine treats of carrots, small chunks of apple (not too much though) and Ryvita crackers. I also bake my own crackers for them as they LOVE grains....of course all treats in moderation! They also go nuts for oatmeal cookies though I wouldn't recommend this too much.
