The people of Nepal usually eat roti, (which is sort of like bread except it is completely round and made out of flour and water), a variety of different curries, chili, and LOTS of lentils (such as daal). For dessert, mango ice cream and burfi (which are sort of like milk cakes) are very popular. Other favourites include chutney, which is a thick, splcy sauce and can come in virtually any flavour, and lassi, which is similar to a milkshake. Hindu state so beef is not allowed as cow is considered goddess Laxmi(goddess of wealth) and national animal but buff and its varieties are popular but not all eat it too.They prefer all types meat and they have their own styles of recipe for cooking,they eat chilly hot things,various types of sea food is not available but they know the taste as it is available in cans and comes from india(as no sea),Daal,Bhad,Tarkari(Rice,curry and pulses)is the popular dish of nepali.Besides as there are many casts and creats the food eaten can be found different according to religion and culture.Most of the things are very fresh as this is agricultural country.
