What kind of food for a safari themed baby shower?

Let me give you a little background. I am not planning my own shower. My sis in laws are asking me what I want and how to do it and I am glad they want my input. I am going to have a classy safari themed luncheon shower with the fine china and all but I do not know about what kind of food to suggest. The decor is going to be awesome, I am going to have white table cloths with animal skin print runners and african animal center pieces with lots of greenery. We will have mosquito type netting hanging from the ceilings. Any other classy ideas for decor or food? Please help...

How about ribs and/or chicken kabobs, a nice cool crisp salad, fresh fruit and some tropical fruit smoothies to drink?

Maybe shish ka bobs?? with different meats? bright in season veggies and fruit skewers...all grilled. OR a nice fresh platter of fruits with like a fondue dip..or a whole fondue theme cuz in the wild you "catch and cook" your own food right??!?! Sorry I'm babbling I'm just running ideas off.
