For my 15th birthday I'm throwing a hippies themed party!

We're gonna have loads and loads of colourful sweets and a cake with a huge smiley face and the candles as a "peace" fingers sign!

But what else can I have on the table?

I tried spaghetti and jelly beans.....ew.....

  1. Steak!  It's a little known fact that hippies really, really love Steak....really! Oh, you could also have brownies and sprinkle some dried mint tea over the top and on the plate to look lie they're pot brownies.

  2. fondue!

Either a cheese fondue with french bread cubes to dip

or a chocolate fondue with bananas angel food cake cubes and strawberries

  3. I keep thinking fondue the sweet & the appitizer type would be good

  4. Brownies ... add a little oregano or parsley to the batter.  Not enough so that you'd taste it, but it would have the texture of "Alice B. Toklas" brownies....

chips with onion soup/sour cream dip ... a jello mold  ... meatballs in sauce in a crockpot ...  little hot dogs in a crockpot, cooked with the grape jelly/ketchup sauce ... trail mix ... pretzels  ...a big container of Twizzlers red licorice ...  chocolate fondue with dippers (marshmellows, fruit, graham crackers)

not sure what spaghetti and jelly beans have to do with the 60's(:

  5. Maybe some cookies, chips and dip...idk. what ever you want.

  6. Orrange juice.

  7. Definitely twinkies and pizza.

    Enjoy.

  8. Gra#@    ooppps !!!

                     - red soda

                     - butterfly cup cakes

                     - twisties

                     - jelly tots

  9. Macaroni and cheese.  It's super 60s and very yummy!
