  1. I may be a bit old fashioned, but how about a nice country Inn or the like for a nice lunch. I know Charleston has the nicest old Inn's and B&B's. Do you have a nice older style restraunt that has good salads? if it's dinner you want to go to, may I suggest veal for her. Fish, staek and chicken are for everyday eating. Just make sure the place isnt so big the noise travles. candles on the table would be nice as well, and too ad a touch, have her favorite flowers there already and have the wait person bring them out to your table. Any place should be glad to hold them in their cooler.

  2. The best thing to do is ask her what type of cuisine she would like.  Try to find a place that's truly special. The only problem is that the restaurants will all be crowded.

  3. You can try Benningan's if they have one in your area.

Or try TGIF if there is one in your area.

Also Stake & Ale, again if there is one in your area.

    Or Red Lobster.......

  4. how about a nive picnic in the park, BBQ or eat out somewhere nice

  5. Take out to Brunch a the Ritz, there Mother's Day Brunch is out of this world!

  6. dont know about out for? but ice cream cake would make my day, im a mom. maybe she would like 1 too.

  7. I don't know your Mom and what she likes, but you should. If it's nice, cook her her favorite BBQ food and bring chocolates! You can get a nice bunch of flowers by a road stand or even in the supermarket. Remember that one rose to a Mom is just as special as more but include a nice and loving note from you. NEVER forget a beautiful card that will make her cry. I know and it's so important to me. The words get me every time and mean so much, even more than a gift. I ALWAYS cry and it isn't bad. I don't know what type of food she likes or how much money you plan on spending, but Mom always needs a break from cooking. Whether you or others make a BBQ, go to her favorite restaurant (but beware some may need reservations as Mother's Day is a very big day and you made need reservations) Call around or if you know what food she likes, see if you can take her out. We have nice diners where I live and usually do not have a problem getting in , especially for a lunch. With such a historic place you live in, I am certain there are so many possibilities. Just keep in mind what she likes and don't forget a special cards and write in it your thoughts of your Mom. These two things alone will bring her great joy and happiness. Wait on her for a change. have a wonderful day and I wish that your Mom will have the best Mother's Day ever!!! You are a thoughtful son! Stay that way!
