  1. Pretty simple, but really fresh, locally sourced food. Beef and salmon, fig salad, a spinach salad, herb infused potatoes, etc, plus horsdeurves like shrimp, artisanal cheeses, etc. and then the wines of course (it was at a vineyard).


  2. I know it is common but chicken and beef. I had that at mine and they chose one or the other or both if they wanted it. It came with a potato and a veggie.

  3. We're going to have a choice of chicken or fish.  The chicken is going to be baked in a puff pastry topped with a mushroom sauce the fish will be roasted salmon.  Both choices will be served with roasted veggies, roasted red potatoes, passed bread and a green salad with vinaigrette.  

  4. We did chicken & beef (each person got both), roasted potatoes, some kind of vegetable medley, and a fresh green salad w/vinaigrette.

We're doing a reception FIESTA!!!  We're holding it at my favorite Mexican restaurant, and doing a buffet with chips, salsa, guacamole, rice and beans, and a choice of two entrees- chicken enchiladas and beef fajitas.  In addition to the cupcake tower, we're having sopapillas and flan for dessert.  It's going to be a BLAST!!!

  7. All different kinds of hot and cold hors d'ouvres including mini quiche, salmon lime satay, shrimp cocktail, fresh veggies, artisan cheeses, etc. The salad has a house dressing. The entree is choice of stuffed shrimp, filet mignon or chicken saltimboca. The sides are roasted potatoes and fresh steamed green beans. The desserts will be various cakes (carrot, chocolate, German chocolate, lemon, strawberry shortcake, etc), brownies, mini eclairs, cookies and a chocolate fountain with various dipping things (pretzels, marshmellows, rice krispies treats, etc). Our wedding cake is being boxed and sent home with everyone. I am hoping we are able to please all pallates! ( =

    Raw Bar (shrimp, oyster, little necks etc.)

    Garden Salad with choice of Dressings,

    Coleslaw,

    2 Pound Boiled Lobster per guest,

    Steamed Clams,

    Barbecued Ribs,

    Barbecued Chicken,

    Grilled Portuguese Sausage,

    Roasted Cod with Garlic Cracker crumbs

    Prince Edward Island Mussels in a White Wine and Leek Broth,

    Corn on the Cob,

    Corn Bread,

    Fresh Watermelon,

    Strawberry Shortcake,

    Chocolate and Vanilla Ice Cream with Brownies

    Wedding cake.

    We also added two passed hors d'ouvres (scallops wrapped in bacon and spinash pocket)

  9. Meats/Fish: Calamari, mussels fradiavolo, pork loin, sliced steak, chicken marsala, chicken franchese, seafood sautee (scallops, shrimp, lobster and crab with white wine)

    Sides: Penne vodka, Pesto Pasta, veggie risotto, oven roasted potatoes, arugula and balsamic salad, 5 seasonal salads (artichoke, bean...etc)

    Dessert: an assortment of desserts including cherries jubilee
