  5. If I was feeling really adventurous, I'd try haggis or blood sausage. I'm rarely feeling that adventurous though.

But on a normal day, I'd stick with fish and chips.

  6. When in Rome you know... fish & chips restaurants mostly... they serve a wide range of excellent English fare (everyday food). I'd stay away from British food that has been influenced by the Indians (curry etc); searching out traditional English restaurants and perhaps the better Chinese fine dine.

  7. Veggies!  From what I've heard and seen on TV, many eat anything and everything.  I only eat veggies, eggs (for extra protein) & fish . . . that other white meat :)

Some of the produce markets I've seen there are so beautiful!

  8. It depends on where exactly in the U.K. you are. If you were in England you would eat anything from fish and chips to beef tenderloin tournedos, and most anything else you would find here in the states. If you were in either Scotland or Ireland there's Bangers and Mash, Mince and taddies, all manner of smoked fish, and about every part of an animal that can be used for about a thousand different types of sausage.

  9. If you're over 18, pear cider!! Lol - that's not a food though.

London's supermarkets SUCK but there are so many great restaurants. Just a matter of giving different ones a go. Make sure you have a traditional English pub meal - heavy, yummy food! And wash it down with a pear cider or 6 ;)

  10. - Shepard's pie

    - Roastbeef

    - yummy sandwiches

    - Indian

    - Persian

    - and middle Eastern

  11. Probably Indian or Chinese.
