I have freckles and really sensitive skin and some foundation makes my skin break out. I want something light that covers blemishes but doesn't cover my freckles.

  1. mineral wear

  2. E.L.F. mineral makeup

  3. I am in loveeeee with Maybelline's "Dream Matte Mousse". . . It goes on so well and covers all signs of redness and imperfection. . .

  4. i have the exact same problems. i use fresh minerals. it works wonders.

  5. I use Prescriptives- Anywear Multi-Finish Compact. It actually helps prevent an oily face and breakouts, it applies smoothly and covers pretty much anything! You can find the Prescriptives Cosmetics counter at a department store... e.g. Macy's. It is a foundation, and the compact looks like this >>> http://a248.e.akamai.net/www.prescriptiv...    just ask someone that works there to help you find the right shade and they'll be more than happy to help you out!

  6. bare minerals

  7. I really like mineral makeup but with your acne prone skin you have to be careful because many of the mineral make up foundations contain this ingredient called bismuth oxychloride which can cause irritation and breakouts in your sensitive skin. One person on here commented that you should give Bare Escentuals a try. Well I've tried it and I loved the coverage it gave and how it made me look but it caused my skin to breakout because it has bismuth oxychloride in it. Other mineral make up brands that have bismuth oxychloride include Revlon's Mineral Foundation, Loreal's Bare Naturale, and Meybelline's Mineral Power. Physician's Formula Mineral Wear, another mineral make up brand,  is pretty good. The good thing about it is that it does not contain bismuth oxychloride so it shouldn't cause you to have more irritation. If you're looking for just liquid foundation that's light, Revlon's Beyond Natural is supposed to be good. Plus it matches very well to a person's skin color. I'm currently using CoverGirl's TruBlend and so far I'm liking it. It's very natural looking and is not causing any more breakouts (which is a problem I do have with some brands as well).
