Hi I have a 10 gallon fish tank with everything but the fish. I'm looking forward in breeding some type of freshwater fish but I don't want to deal with any eggs. So which fish come straight out like guppies and mollies?

  1. Most livebearers, including guppies, mollies, platys and swordtails, as well as the lesser known goodeids and limias, are too large and active for a small 10 gallon as a breeding tank.

However the tiny endler (poecilia wingei) should suit you, males are under 1" long and they don't eat their own fry. Seek out pure breds as most store bought ones are larger guppy hybrids. Go to endlers r us (sorry, am on my phone and can't go digging for links).

  2. Guppies, platys, sowrdtails, mollies and snails.

it does not directly answer your question but its very informative

  4. They are live bearers such as molly, platy, guppy& swordtail.Get molly. they are prolific breeders .everybody tries to stop them from breeding instead of getting them breed.they breed every 30 days.Keep in mind that your's is only 15 gallon. If you get many fishes ,they may be in danger
