  1. I have a grow a frog. his name is deputy and I love him very much. he sings a lot though.

  2. African Dwarf Frogs! They only cost a couple bucks and the food they need is called bloodworms. I know it sounds disgusting, but it's the same food bettas eat. The food costs approximately 3-5 dollars.

  3. I have a red eyed tree frog, they are so funny and beautiful to watch, they dont get that big, only a few inches long and they can live on their own or in pairs. You'd need to get a vivarium around 18"x22"x18" so not that big which is good. The only downside is the price, i got my adult frog at £50 but you can probably get one alot cheaper. You would also need a UV light which normally comes fitted if you get a Exo Terra vivarum, this is also quite expensive about £120. They eat about 2 crickets every other day and you have to keep the tank moist by spraying it every other day. They really do make excellent pets and are fascinating to watch.

  4. dumpys are great, they need a 20 gal tank (about 25-30 bucks), bed-a-beast (5 bucks), plants and branches (as much as you want to spend but make sure they have enough to climb and hide on), uva light and fixture (20 bucks) water dish (10 bucks) screen (15 bucks) calcium dust (5 bucks) weekly crickets (a couple of bucks), mister (you can get one at the dollar store) the frog itself is around 20 bucks.

red eye tree frogs have the same needs as dumpys but they get stressed out very easily and do not like to be handled, only for experts really, they are about 50 bucks a piece.

african dwarf frogs are super easy, you can get a 10 gallon starter kit (has the light, heater, filter, stress coat) for 40 bucks, then all you have to add some rocks and places for them to hide. you can get a whole bunch and they are only like 2 bucks a piece, they eat bloodworms which are less than 5 bucks for a pack.

fire bellied toads (which are really a frog) are super easy, they need the same care as a dumpy but you can keep them in a smaller tank, they also like the company of their own kind. they are about 5 bucks for one and they eat crickets, they do need a large soaking bowl that should be changed daily.
