  1. In turbine engines, JP-1 to JP-8 fuel and variants. Similar to Kerosene.

    In Piston engines, usually very high octane Gasoline (100 octane "AvGas").

    Jet fuel is NOT more flammable than AvGas, it has a higher flash point and also a higher calorific value
