What kind of future relationship problems can stem from growing up with poor associations with one's father?

You could say I had poor association with my 'father', who left me when I was months old (in my moms stomach, that is) and I have my share of problems, I don't know if its a result of abandonment though. I have serious trust issues....but I'm fine. I kinda wish I could've gotten a card or something for 1 of my 16 birthdays, but I'm fine. I wish my parent would acknowledge me as his daughter....but I'm fine.

my relationships are fine as well. I'm actually all the more attatched to guys.
