45 cal is on crack! The Dodge is quiet? Dodge's are great, but they are notorious as the loudest diesel out there. The Ford and Chevy achieve approximately 20 MPG on the highway, unloaded. The dodge can get 25 MPG on the highway, unloaded. All of these MPG's are based on 60 MPH. These big diesel's get much worse mileage when they exceed 65 MPG. You will pay between 50 and 75 cents more per gallon for diesel, so you don't buy them for fuel economy. Maintenenace will take about 12 quarts of oil per oil change and air and oil filters. These diesels run forever. 1 million miles or better is the norm.
