  2. 33 city/44 hyway....that's EPA 2008 ..look it up at smart car.....bad compared to many bigger 4 seaters

  3. 55 mpg if i am not mistaken

  4. I find it kind of silly that these TINY little cars only get an average of 33 MPG, while my Pontiac Bonneville with a 3.8 L V6 (and slightly more than 200 HP) gets around 25 MPG.

  5. 61bhp engine - 60.1mpg

    71bhp engine - 60.1mpg

    84bhp engine - 57.6mpg

  6. The new gasoline powered Smart cars get less gas mileage than a Toyota Yaris.

  7. Consumer Reports said they averaged about 31 mpg driving one... about the same as a Mitsu Lancer...  kinda crummy.

  8. ridiculous kind

  9. It gets 33mpg city and 41mpg highway according to the Smart website.

That is if you are talking about the Smart Fortwo.

If you live in Europe, there are also the Smart Forfour and Smart Roadser, which get 1-3mpg worse than the Smart Fortwo.

It only gets 1-3mpg better than Honda Civic and Toyota Yaris and Honda Fit.
