Well... if your going for something cheap get them and itunes giftcard or a giftcard to a store (NEVER get them clothes yourself, you never know what they'll like). But, if you really want to impress them buy them something like an ipod or cell phone.

Gift cards to electronic places like Best Buy or Circuit City, a movie, CD, $$money$$, movie tickets (for them and a friend or girl/boyfriend), or maybe just offer to pay for something they need.

I agree with NO CLOTHES, teenager are too picky with what they wear. It's too hard to get something they would actually like, unless they specifically said they wanted something (even then, have a gift receipt for exchanges on style, color, and size).
