I am trying to come up with a good gift idea for my running coaches...they are marathon coaches for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and I would like to get them something for all of their hard work this season...I need some ideas.

  1. a golden stopwatch

  2. Often runners have energy/protein bars that they use while training, why not get them a case of their favorite energy bar. A box or case of bars could be anywhere from $25 - $50.

  3. I would get him a custom embroidered jacket or duffle/coach bag.  I would check out http://www.universityfashions.com  They have a lot of items that can be customized with embroidery. They have design or you can create your own. I've ordered a couple of gifts from them and have been very pleased.

    Goodl Luck!

  4. some really nice runners!!

  5. if its a female then, i would get her some flowers and a viser or something. If its a male i would go with a cap, or viser. You could also get them a cool pair of socks   =D lol Maybe even a new watch/stop watch.  I hope i helped  =]

  6. Don't get them something running related, they already have that kind of stuff.  Kayleigh's got the right idea, make a donation in their name and a nice picture of you guys in a nice frame.  Its meaningful gift.  Maybe put together a slide show for them as a keepsake.

I think its nice your doing this for the coaches.  Its a good way to keep these coaches motivated and to keep up with their good work.

  7. well the best gift is something they will always use and it will be helpful so maybe like some sunglasses if they always run in sunny weather...maybe an ipod new or used(myabe the small shuffle 2 that clips on)....or the whole ipod nano plus nike run thing where it tracks you run progress on the ipod and the sensor is in the shoe...

  8. The commemorative photo albums that my teams assembled and presented me are, years later, things I return to again and again, and  cherish. Their value far surpasses that of any "merchandise" I might have received.

I'll bet your training group collectively has dozens if not hundreds of digital photos. Throw a "scrapbooking" party! Don't tell your coaches; just knock their socks off later...

  9. That is really cool that you're doing that.

I would get them a gift card to a local running store they  like to shop at or even a card that says how much you appreaciate what they have done for you.

  10. Make a donation in their name.
